Meet our Scouters...
No program such as this would succeed without its volunteers. As Scouts Canada Scouters we are happy to be a part of your Cubs growth and development as they make their way through the Silver Falls Scouting Program. With varying backgrounds our Scouters each bring a unique skill-set to help the program be successful.
Scouter Bill
As Group Commissioner, Scouter Bill lends his Scouting knowledge and experience to all the Sections within Silver Falls. If you have any questions for Scouter Bill, feel free to Email him at william.mahaffy@scouts.ca

Akela (Scouter Larry)
As Section Leader, Akela has taken on the role of "The Old Wolf". Scouter Larry has been a member of Scouting for 3 years, and although new to the Pack is always looking for new and fun ways to get the Cubs outside and active.

Bagheera (Scouter Ken)
Just like his name sake in "The Jungle Book", Bagheera goes to great lengths to ensure each and every Cub is safe while making sure they get the most out of their time with the Pack. Scouter Ken has been with Scouting for a number of years and brings a lot of experience to the pack that he freely shares with the youth.

Chil (Scouter Larry T.)
Chil came to Silver Falls upon moving to Saint John. With over 20 years of Scouting experience under his belt and having Retired from The Canadian Military, Chil has many skills and experiences to share with the Pack.

Hathi (Scouter Phil)
Hathi came to us in 2017 from the Silver Falls Beaver Colony and brought with him a commanding presence and easy going attitude. Hathi brings many great ideas to the table to help shake things up and keep things rolling during our meetings.

Chippy (Scouter Stacy)
On loan from our Beaver Colony (hence the name Chippy), Scouter Stacy has a knowledgeable background in Scouting that is a great help to the rest of the leaders.
