First of all - our apologies for any Cubs that may have been a little more hyper than usual when they got home tonight!
It was a beautiful, cool fall evening but that didn't slow the Cubs down as they did a scavenger hunt, played games, sang campfire songs, roasted marshmallows and hot dogs, and had Hot Chocolate.
Scouter Bill was in fine form tonight as he taught our new Cubs the most infamous of Scout campfire songs - Ging Gang Goolie! - Ask them to sing it for you :-)
Parents are reminded that beginning with our last meeting we are now collecting dues each week. $1 per Cub each night. These dues go toward the cost of any supplies that we use for crafts, S.T.E.M. activities, etc. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Next week we are off to Saint John High for our first monthly Swimming night. Swimming is always on the THIRD TUESDAY of the month, and we do not have a Wednesday meeting that week. Dont forget to bring a loonie!
See you next week!
Good Hunting,
~Akela
