Astronomy? Who said anything about Astronomy?!?

Ok... OK... I will admit it.... Astronomy Night seemed to get lost somewhere along the way.  I know what you're all thinking - Akela is always talkin' about being prepared - well I sure as heck wasn't prepared for tonight.  

As luck should have it Mother Nature was NOT on our side and even if we were prepared for our night of star gazing we would have been greatly hindered by the cloud cover. 

We made the most of it though!  The Cubs got an opportunity to let their hair down with a couple of games, did some geography/map reading, and those who earned their Knife Permit on the weekend was presented with their permit card.  For those Cubs who weren't at camp there WILL be opportunities in the future to learn knife skills and earn a permit.

We also talked with the pack about their French language strip.  If your Cub is bilingual or presently in french immersion and did not receive their language strip please let us know and we will get it to them.

Next week will be a S.T.E.M. Night as well as the next section of 'We Can Help'.  While i will be away, Bagheera will be leading the evening and covering the necessary material.  Keep an eye on Facebook as he will be requesting that the Cubs bring items for their S.T.E.M. project.
