Seasons Greetings...

As the work week winds down and Christmas draws ever closer I thought I would take a moment to send out greetings to everyone who has helped make the first few months of our Scouting year successful.

When I stepped into the role of Akela last year I knew that I was doing so with a supportive team of Scouters as well as great parents to work with to bring a memorable program to our Cubs.  We have been working hard to ensure each and every Cub gets the most our of their time with us and at the same time doing our best to offer a well rounded program for all to enjoy.  

This program would not be possible without the tireless efforts of Bagheera (Ken), Baloo (Brian), Chippy (Stacy), Scouter Phil, Scouter Larry, Scouter Ashly, and of course Scouter Bill and Scouter Barb who steer our ship with unwavering dedication.  It also wouldn't be possible without the support of parents who are receptive to whatever crazy ideas we come up with for the Pack.

As we head into the next phase of our year we look forward to more adventures, more learning, and much more fun!  2018 will bring exciting excursions, traditional scouting activities and (we hope) loads of fun!

This holiday season remember to take the time to enjoy your family and friends - these days it is far to easy to get lost in the hubbub that comes with a 'modern' Christmas while losing sight of what is truly important - FAMILY!
